How it works
You can now set a preferred location in your account to receive email notifications whenever Jacqueline plans an informal gathering in that country. If a gathering is organized, you will receive an email invite to confirm whether you would like to attend.
Setting your preference
Log in and click your profile icon / name in the top-right corner to open the dropdown menu.
Go to Notifications for meet-ups.
Select your Country (you can also narrow it down by selecting a State / Region and City if applicable, but notifications are sent out based on your chosen country).
Click Save changes.
Key details
One country at a time: You can select one preferred country for notifications.
Update anytime: You can change your chosen location whenever you like. Changes apply to gatherings published after you save.
Newsletter updates: Don't worry about missing out, any upcoming informal gatherings are always announced in the weekly newsletter. This gives you advance notice to update your meet-up location in your personal account if you plan to travel and would like to receive the invitation to attend.
Stopping notifications: Click Clear my selection at any time to remove your preferred country and stop receiving meet-up emails.
