1. Refresh and check your browser
A simple page refresh often fixes the issue.
Use Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge, and make sure it's fully updated.
Older browsers or devices, even if “technically supported,” may struggle to load the livestream smoothly.
2. Turn off VPNs
If you're using a VPN, this can cause slowness or latency - especially if your VPN connects to a far-away country.
Turn off your VPN and try again.
3. Lower your playback quality
If the stream is lagging, click the gear icon in the video player and reduce the playback quality to 720p or 540p.
Some browsers or systems default to 1080p - which may be too high if your connection is slow.
4. Use a supported browser and system
For best results, join from a computer with one of these browsers:
Chrome 30+
Firefox 27+
Safari 9+
Microsoft Edge
Your operating system must be at least Windows 7 or macOS Sierra (10.12.6).
Older systems (like Windows XP) or browsers may not support livestream video properly.
5. Avoid using mobile devices
Live events can work on recent phones, but computers are much more reliable.
If you do use mobile:
Android 5.0+ or iOS 12.4+ is required
Do not use the Samsung Internet browser – it doesn’t support livestreaming, use Chrome or Safari instead.
And if all else fails, wait for the livestream to finish - the recording will be available shortly after the event.
