My donation failed – what should I do?

If your donation fails, it’s usually due to issues with your bank, card, or banking arrangements. Unfortunately, this is not something we can resolve on our end. To resolve the issue, here’s what to check and do:

1. Check with your bank
□ Call your bank and ask if they blocked the payment

□ Ask them to allow online and international donations

□ Make sure your card is not limited to a region (e.g. “Europe only”)

2. Check your card settings

□ Make sure your card is allowed for online payments

□ Confirm your card is up to date and not expired

□ Check your bank has your correct mobile number

□ Install the latest updates on your device

□ If your bank uses a mobile app, download and sign into it

3. Check for extra verification:

□ Look for a pop-up from your bank asking for a code or password

□ Complete any identity check (3D Secure)

□ If you missed the prompt, try again and look out for it

4. PayPal checklist

If you used PayPal instead of a card:

□ Check your PayPal account is verified and working

□ Make sure your linked card or bank account is up to date

□ Confirm your contact details are correct

□ Log in to PayPal and check for messages or actions required

□ Try donating via card instead of PayPal if issues continue

5. Still having trouble?

□ Try a different card

□ Try a different browser or device

□ Check your email or banking app for any alerts

□ Wait a few hours and try again

By following these steps - checking with your bank, resolving authentication issues, and verifying your card settings - you should be able to resolve any donation problems and successfully complete your transaction.
